Common Interview Questions

Sample Interview Questions - Best Practices for Recruiters and Employers and Tips for Job Seekers

During the interview process, the questions that employers ask candidates should be organized and focused on the available position, in order to allow employers to clearly evaluate the applicant. This is important, because it is the very first time that the employer gets to interact with applicants face-to-face to find out what they are really like and assess the value that they can bring to the organization.

It is helpful before the interview for employers to prepare a list of questions that they will want to ask their applicants and for those applicants to anticipate which questions will be asked so that they can be properly prepared to answer the recruiter's interview questions. Having a focused list helps employers stay organized during the interview and ensure that they cover important areas of the job qualifications and expectations. When employers conclude the interview, they want to possess all of the information that they will need in order to make an informed decision, so candidates must be able to articulate the answers to the interview questions and the employers must ask the correct questions.

Below is a list of sample interview questions that will help employers find the right applicants and for which those applicants should be prepared to answer honestly, concisely, and fully:

25 Difficult Questions

1. Tell me about yourself.
In most of the interviews, this is arguably the first question which you will face. Be extra careful that you don't run off at the mouth. Keep your answer short. Cover four topics: early years, education, work history, and recent career experience. Emphasize this last subject. Remember that this is likely to be a warm-up question. Don't waste your best points on it.

Your response to this question will set the tone for the rest of the interview. For some, this is the most challenging question to answer, as they wonder what the interviewer really wants to know and what information they should include. You need to have a short statement prepared in your mind that includes the information you want to express. Try to Limit it to work-related items unless instructed otherwise.

List four or five strengths you have that are relevant to this job (experiences, personality, skills, etc.). Practice the statement that you have prepared until you feel confident about what you want to highlight in your statement. Your response should help you stay on track, but don't let it sound like as if you have prepared from home. It should sound natural and conversational.

2. What do you know about our organization?
You should be able to discuss products or services, revenues, reputation, image, goals, problems, management style, people, history and philosophy. But don't act as if you know everything about the place. Let your answer show that you have taken the time to do some research, but don't overwhelm the interviewer, and make it clear that you wish to learn more.

You might start your answer in this manner: "In my job search, I've investigated a number of companies.

Yours is one of the few that interests me, for these reasons..."

Give your answer a positive tone. Don't say, "Well, everyone tells me that you're in all sorts of trouble, and that's why I'm here", even if that is why you're there.

3. Why do you want to work for us?
The deadliest answer you can give is "Because I like people." What else would you like-animals?

Here, and throughout the interview, a good answer comes from having done your homework so that you can speak in terms of the company's needs. You might say that your research has shown that the company is doing things you would like to be involved with, and that it's doing them in ways that greatly interest you. For example, if the organization is known for strong management, your answer should mention that fact and show that you would like to be a part of that team. If the company places a great deal of emphasis on research and development, emphasize the fact that you want to create new things and that you know this is a place in which such activity is encouraged. If the organization stresses financial controls, your answer should mention a reverence for numbers.

If you feel that you have to concoct an answer to this question - if, for example, the company stresses research, and you feel that you should mention it even though it really doesn't interest you- then you probably should not be taking that interview, because you probably shouldn't be considering a job with that organization.

Your homework should include learning enough about the company to avoid approaching places where you wouldn't be able -or wouldn't want- to function. Since most of us are poor liars, it's difficult to con anyone in an interview. But even if you should succeed at it, your prize is a job you don't really want.

4. What can you do for us that someone else can't?
Here you have every right, and perhaps an obligation, to toot your own horn and be a bit egotistical. Talk about your record of getting things done, and mention specifics from your resume or list of career accomplishments. Say that your skills and interests, combined with this history of getting results, make you valuable. Mention your ability to set priorities, identify problems, and use your experience and energy to solve them.

5. What do you find most attractive about this position? What seems least attractive about it?
List three or four attractive factors of the job, and mention a single, minor, unattractive item.

6. Why should we hire you?
Create your answer by thinking in terms of your ability, your experience, and your energy. (See question 4.)

7. What do you look for in a job?
Keep your answer oriented to opportunities at this organization. Talk about your desire to perform and be recognized for your contributions. Make your answer oriented toward opportunity rather than personal security.
8. Please give me your definition of [the position for which you are being interviewed].

Keep your answer brief and task oriented. Think in in terms of responsibilities and accountability. Make sure that you really do understand what the position involves before you attempt an answer. If you are not certain. ask the interviewer; he or she may answer the question for you.

9. How long would it take you to make a meaningful contribution to our firm?
Be realistic. Say that, while you would expect to meet pressing demands and pull your own weight from the first day, it might take six months to a year before you could expect to know the organization and its needs well enough to make a major contribution.

10. How long would you stay with us?
Say that you are interested in a career with the organization, but admit that you would have to continue to feel challenged to remain with any organization. Think in terms of, "As long as we both feel achievement-oriented."

11. Your resume suggests that you may be over-qualified or too experienced for this position. What's Your opinion?
Emphasize your interest in establishing a long-term association with the organization, and say that you assume that if you perform well in his job, new opportunities will open up for you. Mention that a strong company needs a strong staff. Observe that experienced executives are always at a premium. Suggest that since you are so well qualified, the employer will get a fast return on his investment. Say that a growing, energetic company can never have too much talent.

12. What is your management style?
You should know enough about the company's style to know that your management style will complement it. Possible styles include: task oriented (I'll enjoy problem-solving identifying what's wrong, choosing a solution and implementing it"), results-oriented ("Every management decision I make is determined by how it will affect the bottom line"), or even paternalistic ("I'm committed to taking care of my subordinates and pointing them in the right direction").

A participative style is currently quite popular: an open-door method of managing in which you get things done by motivating people and delegating responsibility.

As you consider this question, think about whether your style will let you work happily and effectively within the organization.

13. Are you a good manager? Can you give me some examples? Do you feel that you have top managerial potential?
Keep your answer achievement and ask-oriented. Rely on examples from your career to buttress your argument. Stress your experience and your energy.

14. What do you look for when You hire people?
Think in terms of skills. initiative, and the adaptability to be able to work comfortably and effectively with others. Mention that you like to hire people who appear capable of moving up in the organization.

15. Have you ever had to fire people? What were the reasons, and how did you handle the situation?
Admit that the situation was not easy, but say that it worked out well, both for the company and, you think, for the individual. Show that, like anyone else, you don't enjoy unpleasant tasks but that you can resolve them efficiently and -in the case of firing someone- humanely.

16. What do you think is the most difficult thing about being a manager or executive?
Mention planning, execution, and cost-control. The most difficult task is to motivate and manage employess to get something planned and completed on time and within the budget.

17. What important trends do you see in our industry?
Be prepared with two or three trends that illustrate how well you understand your industry. You might consider technological challenges or opportunities, economic conditions, or even regulatory demands as you collect your thoughts about the direction in which your business is heading.

18. Why are you leaving (did you leave) your present (last) job?
Be brief, to the point, and as honest as you can without hurting yourself. Refer back to the planning phase of your job search. where you considered this topic as you set your reference statements. If you were laid off in an across-the-board cutback, say so; otherwise, indicate that the move was your decision, the result of your action. Do not mention personality conflicts.

The interviewer may spend some time probing you on this issue, particularly if it is clear that you were terminated. The "We agreed to disagree" approach may be useful. Remember hat your references are likely to be checked, so don't concoct a story for an interview.

19. How do you feel about leaving all your benefits to find a new job?
Mention that you are concerned, naturally, but not panicked. You are willing to accept some risk to find the right job for yourself. Don't suggest that security might interest you more than getting the job done successfully.

20. In your current (last) position, what features do (did) you like the most? The least?
Be careful and be positive. Describe more features that you liked than disliked. Don't cite personality problems. If you make your last job sound terrible, an interviewer may wonder why you remained there until now.

21. What do you think of your boss?
Be as positive as you can. A potential boss is likely to wonder if you might talk about him in similar terms at some point in the future.

22. Why aren't you earning more at your age?
Say that this is one reason that you are conducting this job search. Don't be defensive.

23. What do you feel this position should pay?
Salary is a delicate topic. We suggest that you defer tying yourself to a precise figure for as long as you can do so politely. You might say, "I understand that the range for this job is between Rs______ and Rs______. That seems appropriate for the job as I understand it." You might answer the question with a question: "Perhaps you can help me on this one. Can you tell me if there is a range for similar jobs in the organization?"

If you are asked the question during an initial screening interview, you might say that you feel you need to know more about the position's responsibilities before you could give a meaningful answer to that question. Here, too, either by asking the interviewer or search executive (if one is involved), or in research done as part of your homework, you can try to find out whether there is a salary grade attached to the job. If there is, and if you can live with it, say that the range seems right to you.

If the interviewer continues to probe, you might say, "You know that I'm making Rs______ now. Like everyone else, I'd like to improve on that figure, but my major interest is with the job itself." Remember that the act of taking a new job does not, in and of itself, make you worth more money.

If a search firm is involved, your contact there may be able to help with the salary question. He or she may even be able to run interference for you. If, for instance, he tells you what the position pays, and you tell him that you are earning that amount now and would Like to do a bit better, he might go back to the employer and propose that you be offered an additional 10%.

If no price range is attached to the job, and the interviewer continues to press the subject, then you will have to restpond with a number. You cannot leave the impression that it does not really matter, that you'll accept whatever is offered.

Don't sell yourself short, but continue to stress the fact that the job itself is the most important thing in your mind. The interviewer may be trying to determine just how much you want the job. Don't leave the impression that money is the only thing that is important to you. Link questions of salary to the work itself.

But whenever possible, say as little as you can about salary until you reach the "final" stage of the interview process. At that point, you know that the company is genuinely interested in you and that it is likely to be flexible in salary negotiations.

24. What are your long-range goals?
Refer back to the planning phase of your job search. Don't answer, "I want the job you've advertised." Relate your goals to the company you are interviewing: 'in a firm like yours, I would like to..."

25. How successful do you you've been so far?
Say that, all-in-all, you're happy with the way your career has progressed so far. Given the normal ups and downs of life, you feel that you've done quite well and have no complaints.

Present a positive and confident picture of yourself, but don't overstate your case. An answer like, "Everything's wonderful! I can't think of a time when things were going better! I'm overjoyed!" is likely to make an interviewer wonder whether you're trying to fool him . . . or yourself. The most convincing confidence is usually quiet confidence.

Interview Tips

*Be on time!
Practice getting to the venue to see how long it will take. Public transport may be useless, the traffic may have been heavy, but however reasonable it won't affect the fact that your chances are reduced if you are late. Always remember - You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

*Be Prepared!
Look at the employers' website and learn something about the company before you attend your interview. Feed them the opportunity to talk proudly about something positive you have found.

*Write down and practice possible interview questions
Writing them down and practicing them with someone will make it easier to remember when you get to the interview. Use the third person when talking about the job. Avoid sounding as though you assume the job is yours. It is fine to ask about the package on offer and accommodation - living in and living out are particularly relevant. You could also try a fewer more testing questions such as how they differentiate themselves from their competitors or what they think the toughest/hardest part of the job is.

* You never get a second chance to make a first impression!
The outcome of the interview will depend largely on the impression you make during the first five minutes. To succeed, you must project a professional, competent and enthusiastic image. Your aim is to convince the interviewer that you would be an asset to the company

* Be honest!
There really is no point lying about your background and/or skills. If you get caught, or even manage to get out to resort and then get found out, you can be sure you won't be around for long! Job interviews are about matching needs - if there isn't a good match, then chances are that the job won't work out.

* Check your Resume and be prepared with questions arising from your CV
Make sure you know well what all you have mentioned in your resume.Do remember that there should not be anything written in your resume of which you are not well prepared of. One golden rule says be HONEST. Remember this fact. If you are unable to make your resume attractive try contacting some services.

* Know yourself.
Mentally review the skills and character traits you have that will help the company's bottom line. Think in terms of the value you can add to the position and the company

* Talk about specific achievements!
Interviewers like to know how you felt about about a particular success. Some will ask for specific examples of things you've done that you're particularly proud of; how you solved problems; how you learned - and improved - from difficult situations.

* Don't talk too much!
Spud again - Communication is a two-way thing so give them a chance

* Prepare a sample menu plan!
If you are applying for a catering job then take along a sample menu plan. By this we mean a starter/main/dessert combination over six days, ideally with a vegetarian option. Think about teh balance of nutrients and how the colors will look on the plate. Our recipe section has a number of favourites.

* Take a spare photo & CV with you!
Your interviewer won't be expecting it so you will impress them. It also helps them remember you after the interview.

* Be enthusiastic and positive!
Don't criticize previous employers, particularly within the industry. Focus on positive achievements and views.

* Alter your answers
If youre called back for subsequent interviews after the preliminary one, you will face different interviewers. So, find ways to make the same information sound different. Dont describe the same project you managed to all the interviewers. Instead, describe a different project in each of the successive interviews.

After the Interview:

* After the interview, make notes right away so you don't forget critical details.
* If you are working with a search firm or recruiter, call that recruiter immediately while the facts of the interview are fresh on your mind. The recruiter will want to know what you thought went well and what you may have concerns about.
* Always send a thank you letter to the interviewer immediately. If there were several people that interviewed you, send them each a thank you note. It is good to keep the letter short but to also reiterate your interest in the position and your confidence in your qualifications.
* Don't call the employer back immediately. If the employer said they would have a decision in a week, it is OK to call them in a week, again to thank them for the interview and reiterate your interest.
* If you receive word that another candidate was chosen, you may also send a follow-up letter to that employer, again thanking him or her for the opportunity to interview for the position. Let them know that should another or similar position open in the future, you would love to have the opportunity to interview again.

Be prepared with answers to the following:

1.Why do you wish to leave your current employer?

2.What do you know about this position and company? Why are you interested?

3.What are your short-term and long-term goals?

4.How do you feel about your current supervisor?

5.What are your strengths?

6.What are your weaknesses?

7.What are expectations regarding salary?

8.What information is important to you in making a decision about this job change?

9.What questions do you plan to ask the employer either about the job, company, or other things? Who have you learned the most from?

10.What was it? Why was it important?

11.What could be improved in your boss?

12.What do you like about your current boss?

13.How soon can you join?

14.What would you change here?

15.Are you willing to relocate? Change industries? Travel?

Secret of Kissing......

Great Breath - This is very important. Make sure you brush your teeth before going out on your date. There is nothing worse thankissing someone with bad breath. If your date consists of having something to eat before the actual kiss, make sure you have a mint on hand to take right after you finish eating. Don't take the mint just before the kiss or chew on gum. You don't want to have something in your mouth when you kiss. Moist Lips - You want your lips to be slightly moist when you kiss. Run your tongue over your lips once before you kiss. Don't wear lip gloss because that tends to make the kiss too gooey.
gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

And don't wear a lot of lipstick unless you want your partner to wear it too after the kiss. Slightly moist lips makes it easier to move your lips over your partner's and gives both you and your partner a more pleasant experience.

gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

Positioning - Stand close to your partner. As the two of you move closer together tilt your head slightly. If you can see which way your partner's head is tilting, tilt your head slightly in the opposite direction.

Close Eyes - Just before your lips meet, close your eyes. Some people prefer to leave their eyes open during the kiss. But until you know what your partner prefers, it is best to close your eyes.
Open Lips - Open your mouth slightly and place your lips over your partner's lips. Do not hold your breath! Breath through your nose. As your lips meet, press them gently over your partner's. You may wish to move your lips in a slow, circular motion or just leave them still over your partners.

gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

Closed Lips - This is like the type of kiss you'd give your grandma or aunt. Instead of opening your mouth when your lips meet, keep them closed. This is also a good way of letting your partner know this is as far as it goes. It also makes a great hello/good-bye kiss or a great first time kiss if you're nervous.

French Kissing

This is the most popular type of kiss. This involves touching your tongue with your partner's and it can be quite a pleasant experience. There are a few tips to create a great french kiss.

gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

Open Lips - Open your lips over your partner's slightly more than you would during a regular kiss. This makes it easier to place your tongue in your partner's mouth.

Tongue - Place the tip of your tongue on the tip of your partner's tongue. Do not force your tongue too far into their mouth. If you wish, you can play with their tongue by circling theirs with your own. Have fun with it. Explore.
Lips - You may explore different ways of using your tongue. Try running the tip of your tongue over your partner's lips. Do this slowly and gently, just using the tip of your tongue.

gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

Suck Kissing

This can be a very seductive type of kiss. Instead of French Kissing with your mouth open, while your partner's lips are parted suck on their top our bottom lip with your own, just for a second or two. Then go back to another type of kiss or try the other lip.

gurlzgroup [www.friendmails.net.tc]

Nip Kissing

This type of kiss has to be done carefully, but when done correctly can create a wonderful effect on your date. While suck kissing, gently bite their lip, but be VERY gentle so as not to hurt your date / partner. This kiss should only be done with someone that you've kissed a few times before, otherwise you may shock your partner.

Surprise Kissing

This type of kiss is done when your partner is lying down on a sofa or the ground, either asleep or just lying with their eyes closed. Quietly approach your partner and place a small, very gentle kiss on their lips. Intensify the kiss until your partner opens their eyes or awakens.

Express ur Feelings - Story

A Sad Love Story telling us not to be afraid of expressing our Feelings.

I have a boyfriend who grew up with me. His name is Jin. I always thought of him as a friend until last year, when we went to a trip from a club. I found that I fell in love with him. Before that trip was over, I took a step and confessed my love for him. And soon, we became a pair of lovers, but we loved each other in different ways. I always concentrated on him only, but by his side, there were so many other girls. To me, he was the only one, but to him, maybe I was just another girl…

“Jin, do you want to go watch a movie?” I asked.
“I can’t”
“Why? You need to study at home?” I felt disappointment grabbing me.
“No… I am going to meet a friend…”

He was always like that. He met girls in front of me, like it was nothing. To him, I was just a girlfriend. The word ‘love’ only came out from my mouth. Since I knew him, I had never heard him say ‘I love you’ before. To us, there weren’t any anniversaries at all. He didn’t say anything from the first day and it continued till 100 days…200days… Everyday, before we say goodbye, he would just hand me a doll, everyday, without fail. I don’t know why…

Then one day…
Me: Um, Jin, I …

Jin: What…don’t drag, just say..
Me: I love you.
Jin: ……you….um, just take this doll and go home.

That was how he ignored my ‘three words’ and handed me the doll. Then he disappeared, like he was running away. The dolls I received from him everyday, filled my room, one by one. There were many…Then one day came, my 15th year old birthday. When I got up in the morning, I pictured a party with him, and stranded myself in my room, waiting for his call. But… lunch passed, dinner passed… and soon the sky was dark… he still didn’t call. It was already tiring to look at the phone anymore. Then around 2am in the morning, he suddenly called me and woke me from my sleep. He told me to come out of the house. Still, I felt joy and I ran out happily.

Me: Jin…
Jin: Here…take this
…Again, he handed me a little doll.
Me: What’s this?
Jin: I didn’t give it to you yesterday, so I am giving it to you now. I’m going home now, bye.
Me: Wait, wait! Do you know what today is?
Jin: Today? Huh?
I felt so sad, I thought he would remember my birthday. He turned around and walked away like nothing had happen. Then I shouted… “Wait…”
Jin: You have something to say?
Me: Tell me, tell me you love me…
Jin: What?!
Me: Tell me

I put my pathetic self behind and clung on to him. But he just said simple cold words and left.
“I don’t want to say…that I love someone so easily, if you are desperate to hear it, then find someone else.”

That was what he said. Then he ran off. My legs felt numb… and I collapsed to the ground. He didn’t want to say it easily… How could he…. I felt that… Maybe he is not the right guy for me…

After that day, I stranded myself at home crying, just crying. He didn’t call me, although I was waiting. He just continued handing me a little doll every morning outside my house. That’s how those dolls piled up in my room… everyday.

After a month, I got myself together and went to school. But what made the pain resurface was that… I saw him on a street… with another girl… He had a smile on his face, one that he never showed me…as he touched the doll… I ran straight back home and looked at the dolls in my room, and tears fell… Why did he gave these to me… Those dolls are probably picked out by some other girls…In a fit of anger, I threw the dolls around. Then suddenly, the phone rang. It was him. He told me to come out to the bus stop outside my house. I tried to calm myself down and walked to the bus stop. I kept reminding myself that I am going to forget him, that… it’s going to end. Then he came into my sight, holding a big doll.
Jin: Jo, I thought you were pissed, you really came?

I couldn’t help hating him, acting like nothing had happen and joking around. Soon, he held out the doll as usual…

Me: I don’t need it.
Jin: What….why…I grabbed the doll from his hands and threw it on the road.Me: I don’t need this doll, I don’t need it anymore!! I don’t want to see a person like you again!I spitted out all the words that were inside me. But unlike other days, his eyes very shaking.

“I’m sorry” He apologized in a tiny voice. He then walked over to the road to pick up the doll…
Me: You stupid! Why are you picking up the doll?! Just throw it away!!!
But he ignored me and just went to pick the doll. Then…

Honk~ Honk~

With a loud honk, a big truck was heading towards him.
“Jin! Move! Move away!” I shouted… But he didn’t hear me, he squatted down and picked up the doll.
“Jin, move!” HONK~!! “Boom!” That sound, so terrifying.
That’s how he went away from me. That’s how he went away without even opening his eyes to say one word to me.

After that day, I had to go through everyday with guiltiness and the sadness of losing him… And after spending two months like a crazy person… I took out the dolls.

Those were the only gifts he left me since the day we started going out. I remembered the days I spent with him and started to count the days… when we were in love…

“One…two… three…” That was how… I started to count the dolls…
“Four hundred and eighty four… four hundred and eighty five…”
It all ended with 485 dolls.
I then started to cry again, with a doll in my arms. I hugged it tightly, then suddenly…
“I love you~, I love you~” I dropped the dolls, shocked.
“I….lo..ve…you??” I picked up the dolls and pressed its stomach.

“I love you~ I love you~” It can’t be! I pressed all the dolls’ stomach as it piled on the side.

“I love you~”
“I love you~”
“I love you~”

Those words came out non-stop. I…love you… Why didn’t I realize that….That his heart was always by my side, protecting me. Why didn’t I realize that he love me this much… I took out the doll under the bed and pressed it’s stomach, that was the last doll, the one that fell on the road. It had his blood stain on it. The voice came out, the on that I was missing so much…

“Jo…Do you know what today is? We’ve been loving each other for 486 days. Do you know what 486 is? I couldn’t say I love you…. Um… since I was too shy… If you forgive me and take this doll, I will say that I love you… everyday… till I die… Jo… I love you…”

The tears came flowing out of me. Why? Why? I asked god, why do I only know about all this now? He can’t be by my side, but he loved me until his last minute…

For that… and for that reason… to me… it became courage… to live a beautiful life….

Password Powered Manager (PPM)

Today The Problem Of Terrorism Has Become So Grave That Whatever The Measures We Take To Curb IT, SOONER or Later It Gets Ruined By The Terrorists. We Talk Of Technology But If It Is A Boon Then At The Same Time It Is A Curse Too. WHENEVER WE INVENT OR INNOVATE SOMETHING NEW, Sooner IT BECOMES A NEW TOOL FOR THE ANTI SOCIAL ELEMENTS .WE DISCOVERED THE POWER OF NUCLEAR ENERGY, THEY HATCHED IT AND NOW THEY PUT US ON GUN POINT.ORVILLE WRIGHT IN 1903 HAD NEVER THOUGHT OF WHILE FLYING HIS FIRST ENGINE CONTROLLED AIRPLANE THAT ON SEP 11,2001 THE BLOOD SUCKERS WILL BLAST IT IN WORLD’S TOWERS OF ESTEEM WTC ,ONE DAY TAKING THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT LIVES.BE IT TNT(TRI NITRO TOLUENE) ONCE USED TO BLOW UP ROCKS TO BUILD ROADS FOR THE FUTURE EXPANSION OF MANKIND NOT FOR PUTTING THEIR LIVES AT STAKE OR IT IS DEADLY ANTHRAX,THE MAKERS HAVE BECOME TAKERS.SO BETTER LATE THAN NEVER THAT WE NEED TO TAKE A LESSON FROM THE HISTORY THAT WHILE INVENTING OR DEVELOPING SOMETHING NEW ,TOGETHER WE SHOULD FOCUS ON DEVELOPMENT OF A PROCESS OR SYSTEM LEST THIS SHOULD NOT BECOME A BOON FOR SOCIAL DYNAMITES AT ANY POINT OF TIME IN THE FUTURE.RATHER IT SHOULD DESTROY ITSELF BEFOREHAND.SO “SCIENCE WITH SENSIBILITY” SHOULD BE THE SLOGAN OF THE DAY.
IF POINT IS TAKEN, WE NEED TO THINK ON THE LINES THAT IF WE CAN STILL AVOID THE UN RIGHTFUL USAGE OF THE ALREADY INVENTED TECHNOLOGIES.
I HAVE ONE IDEA THAT I HAVE AN URGE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU.
password powered manager” (ppm) is a device that can restrict the unlawful entry in the system. let me take the opportunity to discuss it in detail and its probable usage.it is a light weight electronic device with the following points of access

a) display screen: this screen displays the information like active password etc.
b) finger print identification pad: this is the sensor which identifies the impression of the finger of the user. to activate the device THE USER HAS TO slide his finger against the pad. the finger print is user specific which has to be registered before the release of ppm.
c) microphone: it records the voice of the user. can be used as an additional tool for double layer security to access the DEVICE.
d) locater: this feature works on GPS technology. will help to precisely LOCATE THE user .it is an additional feature.
e) reset button: it refreshes the device and displays fresh information
f) POWER Switch: it is A power on/off SWITCH.

this password powered manager works as an interface between the user and the administrator web SERVER (aws). the user and the “aws” are linked through the satellite.
Pre-Registration: The device has to be pre registered with one central agency. the user will have to register his fingerprint and voice print apart from other required details like name ,address etc.only after the complete verification the device will be activated. same information will be shared with Interpol.

this ppm has got enormous benefits, some of which are illustrated below.

usage no 1: never loose your password and other important information.
today it is the age of Internet. for everything we have to rely on the web.
be it Internet banking, EMAILS, DE MAT trading, life partner search etc.there are different websites providing respective services. here you have to create one user id with a pain to remember user id.if you forget this then the things come to a halt until you request for a new password from the website and they provide you one. even for putting a valid request you first need to answer some questions to verify your genuiness.
now imagine a life where you don’t need to worry about loosing or remembering the password. yes ,with this device not only you will ever loose your password but also it will be more secure than before. here i suggest a time and location based password to be displayed on your ppm screen.

time based password: after every 15 seconds a new password is generated is sent to the ppm device.
location based password: here when you request for a password ,the server will first ascertain your location ,then it will issue the relevant password.
for example if you are in Mumbai, India
the password will be: mumin12345
and, if you in KARACHI, PAKISTAN
the password will be: krhpk12345
now you will be thinking why location based password.actually all these details will be saved in the back end and will be matched with your travel plan .if you are going outside India the server will take details from immigration department. if you are visiting in India ,the you can upload your travel plan to the server. it will assure you to reduce the risk of duplicate usage of your device. so if you are in Karachi and you get a password like mumind12345 then you will come to know about the possible fraud and can report it asap to stop its misuse.

HERE, THE website hosts have to play a major role. especially for the hosts which provide sensitive services like Internet banking etc.they have to tie up with AWS (ppm).whenever requested by aws(ppm) the host server will have to generate a new password and to be sent to aws(ppm) .aws(ppm) will in turn send this information to the user.
i suggest a one step further, as today anti social elements use email as a potent tool to spread their communication. it can be stopped if the email service providers are also asked to register with ppm services. so whenever i have to log in my mail account i have to use my ppm service. as soon as i use my ppm device my location will be recorded. and i am writing something nuisance i can be trapped.ppm access has to be made compulsory for all email account holders. as ppm user is already registered with the central agency so any activity can be easily traced and registered with proof.also,to open a new email account one has to use his ppm device.so if i have 3 accounts say one with rediff ,gmail and yahoo ,i will be identified as a single user. this will reduce the risk of usage of fraudulent ids.today some abc@gmail.com can easily send a threat mail to anybody without the fear of getting trapped.

this is not the end of its usage profile. you can also upload your important information with the ppm website like meeting with someone ,wake up call etc. and in turn ppm device will remind you.
so practically you will never forget important things again.

usage 2: check illegal usage of mobile phones

today the underworld use this technology to give threats to their potential targets. and today there is no way to stop this. either you change your no, or debar all incoming calls this will affect your business.is there a way through which i can assure only genuine incoming calls and those making it dirty will be trapped?
yes ppm provides a solution for this also .
here we have a develop a “mobile access code”(numeric only) which will again be time as well as location based .this code will be required to call a particular mobile no.if i am the caller and i am to call mr.x ‘s mobile ,then i will have to first retrieve “mobile access code” using my ppm device. then i will have to suffix this code to the receiver’s mobile no. say i have to call mr. x whose mobile no is 9898912345.in order to call him i will have to retrieve mobile access code for this no using my ppm device enter this mobile no. in my ppm device then the ppm device gives a 4 digit code as 1234 against this mobile no.so in order to call mr. x i will dial 9898912345-1234.
Say if i am making a threat call to him, then he can immediately register this to the police. police will immediately trace me as i have used my ppm device to call him. they can also come to know my present location. now i am trapped.

in order to activate this service mr. x has to first activate this ppm service.

usage 3: tracing anti social activities

there is one voice recorder system "activated" on the ppm device all the time. it recognises and understands certain uncommon noises and reports it immediately to the aws without the knowledge of the user.aws in turn analyses it thoroughly and in case of doubt the matter will be reported to police. one check point for ppm device. to keep it activated it should be within 2 meter form your reach and if it is out from your reach for more than 10 minutes, it will be deactivated automatically.

Dieting Tips

What is dieting? What does it mean?
Dieting, mainly it means trying to reduce excess of body weight. The only way to loose fat is by consuming fewer calories per day than your body needs. Insulin resistance is a major cause of excess weight / obesity, so make sure you consult your physician before opting for any dieting plan.

Here are some tips for successful dieting which are based on information only.

1. Drink at least 2-5 liters of water everyday, depending upon the type of weather conditions. Tea, Coffee and alcohols are not to be taken as the substitutes for pure water as these products contains dehydrating agents; they rather get rid of water from the body reserves. Soda and juices also reduce the urge to drink water.

2. Avoid junk food. Junk food means: food which has low nutritional value and high fat, sugar and calories content e.g. salted snack foods, candy, gum, most of the sweet desserts, fried chips, chocolate, cakes, soft drinks, hamburgers etc. These contain very little protein, vitamins and very high calories.

3. Eat small meals at frequent intervals instead of one large meal and avoid late night meals/snacks. Eating smaller meals during the day means control on obesity. The truth is that when you eat more often, your metabolism speeds up as the body understands there is more food on the way and better metabolism means your body burns off calories instead of storing them.

4, Avoid ready, processed food in which preservatives are used.

5. Avoid fatty food and alcohols: Alcohols have to be metabolized by the liver, so the liver can't perform the same job of, metabolizing fat at the same time. Fats: Include minimum possible oils to get fewer calories, in to your diet. Make sure to burn fat, you consume to reduce your excess weight.

6. Get your diet plan worked out by the dietician who will prepare the exact number of calories in-take for your dieting plan. Eat right kind of diet, introducing fruits and vegetables of all colours in your menu.

7. Choose the right kind of exercises according to your routine and activities. Make sure your exercise routine more interesting by using exercise audios/videos.

Dieting Tips
8. Food selection should be based on the lowest amount of sugar, sodium and carbohydrates.

9. Never keep on eating from a jar, as like this you will not be able to have a check on yourself on the quantity intake.

10. Soups are the best way of filling yourself but make sure you take freshly prepared soups to avoid intake of preservatives.

11. When coming to eating desserts, take a small amount.

12. Don't skip a meal as by doing so you tend to overeat during the next meal.

13. Keep daily record of intake and how many calories you are using.

14, Eat fruits and vegetables salad for snacks instead of salties and fried chips.

15. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables (unless these are baked or tossed with butter) as most of these contain low fat and calories. Many of these contain important vitamins and fiber. Avoid avocados, coconut and olives as all of these contain fat naturally.
